Jana Sallwey attended the 49th International Congress of the International Association of Hydrogeologists (IAH) on behalf of the TERESA project team. The motto of the congress was “Groundwater Sustainability and Poverty Reduction” and it was held online. The vision and current developments of a serious game that is being developed as part of the TERESA project was presented in the oral presentation under the title “Capacity development on urban groundwater systems in Kazakhstan through MARPro, a serious game for managed aquifer recharge”. The game concept was developed with support from a student group under the Groundwatch Master Programme (Alejandra Cruz Bolaños; Lex van der Hulst; Thiago Victor do Nascimento) and is currently being implemented on the INOWAS platform.
