On 17 May 2023, TERESA project was introduced to representatives of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University (ENU). Founded 26 years ago, ENU is currently the largest higher education institution in Astana, recently admitted on the list of Top 500 best universities in the world. With dedicated programs for Bachelor, Master and Doctoral students, ENU has 14 Schools and 25 research units structured on four strategic levels: engineering – technical, natural – technical, social – humanitarian, and social – economic. The project team met professors, researchers, doctoral and post-doctoral students from different disciplines who contributed to a better understanding of the environmental, climate and hydrological conditions of Astana. Future collaboration ideas have been discussed as well, especially in the framework of upcoming Horizon Europe calls.
