Scenarios Taldykol area
In total six scenarios were considered for the simulation of Taldykol area. Scenario 0 also serves as the initial state. No data on the sewer network was available for this area either. Due to the size of the area (16.2 km²), the rainwater network was not dimensioned.
Scenario B-0 (base scenario)
The basis and the base scenario (Scenario B-0) for this area is also the digitised version of the urban development plan with the adjustment (increase) of the paved areas. For Scenario B-0, a distinction is made between the three surface types of building, road and green space.
Scenario B-1
In scenario B-1, green or retention roofs are fully implemented on all existing roof areas.
Scenario B-2
Scenario B-2 describes the implementation of permeable pavement in this area. All parking lots, paths, courtyards, side roads and traffic-calmed roads are designed as permeable pavement.
Scenario B-3
Scenario B-3 is a combination of scenarios 1 and 2: In this scenario, all roof areas are implemented as green or retention roofs and all traffic-calmed roads, parking lots, courtyards, paths and side roads are modeled as permeable pavement.
Scenario B-4
Scenario B-4 is based on scenario B-3. This means that all roof surfaces are changed to green or retention roofs and all paths, inner courtyards, side roads and traffic-calmed roads are implemented as permeable pavement. In addition, infiltration swales will be implemented in the area. The swales will be implemented in the green strips along the roads and on available green spaces. However, no area will be connected directly to a swale. The inflow to the swales depends on the location and topographical conditions.
Scenario B-5
In Scenario B-5, unlike all previous scenarios, no SUDS were implemented. In this scenario, a lake with an area of approx. 74 ha is implemented as an example. In addition to the lake, channels are implemented on the surface, which discharge the surface runoff into the lake according to the flow path analysis and topography. This lake serves to simulate the Small Taldykol lakes.
