TERESA project started officially on 1 February 2021 for a duration of three years. After some long delays caused by COVID-19 pandemic and other reasons, we are happy to start our research in Kazakhstan. TERESA is a project funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) under the CLIENT II Programme “International Partnerships for Sustainable Innovations”. The aim of the project is the development of innovative and sustainable concepts for urban water management in Kazakhstan, supported by digital simulation tools for the prevention, protection, and prediction of negative impacts of climate change and urbanisation on the local and regional water resources.
